CFP: Second Annual Symposium on Gender and Sexuality

Place: Indiana University of Pennsylvania
Date: April 13, 2011
Submission deadline for proposals: March 1, 2011

Description: »Although formal research projects and papers are welcome, the symposium is designed to encourage meaningful dialogue amongst the community; thus, we encourage you to submit semester projects and papers that will add to the conversation.
Various critical approaches – scientific, mathematic, literary, historical, political, rhetorical, ethical, philosophical, artistic, etc – can be utilized to examine gender and sexuality. By creating an environment where professionals and students from the various disciplines can dialogue, we learn from each other and increasing our knowledge and competencies. Then the Symposium on Gender and Sexuality is a great place to start, where students, staff and faculty are coming together to present their research and experience on the intersections of these topics.«
